14 children received birth certificates as a result of our Inherit Your Rights training in Simanjiro. Our training looks at practical ways to ensure you have access to your rights. Being without a birth certificate severely hinders your right to inheritance, education, and maintenance when your parents divorce etc. We are thankful to RITA and the Ward Executive Officers and our lawyers, Winnie and Baraka, for their persistence that paid off.
