Bridging the Justice Gap, One Community at a Time

From 1–10 August 2025, Inherit Your Rights hosted a Legal Aid Clinic at the Nane Nane Farmers’ Festival in Arusha.

With just a small team, we made a big impact:

•  2,136 beneficiaries reached (including 1,889 students from 36 schools)

• 33 legal cases addressed (covering land, probate, matrimonial, labor, and child custody issues)

• On-site resolutions provided for urgent disputes

• Awareness raised on legal rights, inheritance, child protection, and women’s land rights

Community members, teachers, and leaders expressed overwhelming appreciation and called for more clinics in remote districts. Women gained knowledge on property and probate rights, while religious

leaders requested training on our faith-based curriculum to help fight harmful practices.

• Fund more mobile legal aid clinics in underserved areas

• Produce and distribute more Kiswahili legal materials

• Train teachers, leaders, and faith communities to sustain impact

• Scale awareness through media outreach
